Roads To Success

In life no matter where you are going there are roads to lead you to your destiny. Your everyday commute to and from work, car pooling the kids to and from activities and to achieve your own success! There are as many roads to success, as there are, opinions about what success looks like once you get to that destination. However, for the sake of this blog, success refers to the road to becoming an entrepreneur. That being said-my first step on my road to success is it to make sure my spirit is right. Yes, I said my spirit, not a business plan (although that’s extremely important and will be talked about in weeks to come).

Why is my spirituality the first step you ask? Because on the road to entrepreneurial success, I know that I am going to hit pot holes, roadblocks and detours and I need to be prepared to change routes without getting discouraged or down. My spirit is my compass and allows me to intuitively know what decisions need to be made. Now I must say, I am still a work in progress and I don’t always follow what my spirit tells me to do (which always end up in regret) but I know that my spirit is from God and that it won’t steer me wrong.

So before I set on the road to entrepreneurial success I am going to make sure that I am at least in alignment with my spirit-my inner map. I will accomplish this through daily prayer, scripture reading, treating my follow man with kindness and talking to God.
